The Los Angeles Chargers suffered a massive loss in the first half of their 2022 season with star CB J.C. Jackson. Jackson suffered a ruptured patella tendon in their Week 7 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks and was ruled out for the rest of the season.

J.C. has been recovering ever since and is looking to return to the field soon. Today, Chargers GM Tom Telesco spoke to the media about a variety of topics, including Jackson, and provided an update for his defensive back.

#Chargers GM Tom Telesco says they are optimistic that CB JC Jackson will be ready to go for training camp.

That's great news coming from Chargers camp. The 27-year-old was initially given no timetable for his return, but now, this gives us a better understanding of his status.

The one-time Pro Bowler struggled in his first year as a Charger. He was unable to find his footing before his injury and it went so far as to Jackson getting benched a week before his injury due to poor play. Jackson will look to redeem himself, and he could be looking at a full season ahead of him, which is great news for the Bolts.

The NFL's Twitter account posted a video of Jackson's rehab process, and it looked promising. Charger fans are hyped for the return of J.C. and cannot wait for the start of training camp now.
