As we get closer and closer to the start of the new NFL season, more odds are going to come out about which teams can win the Super Bowl. It's a fun way for fans to place bets on different teams and good for the oddsmakers to make a ton of money.

A new batch of Super Bowl odds dropped over at Caesars Sportsbook, and they seem to be down on the Los Angeles Chargers. Despite making the playoffs a season ago, it seems that Vegas doesn't hold the Bolts in high regard this season. LA comes in with the 12th-best odds to win the big game this season.

Now there are a few teams ahead of them that make sense. Teams such as the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers, and even the Buffalo Bills all seem accurate. But after the first five, things become questionable here.

Neither the New York Jets nor the Detroit Lions reached the postseason last year. They likely are banking on New York being better due to them acquiring Aaron Rodgers, but that team was just put together, and they still remain a wild card out in the AFC. The Lions are headed up by Jared Goff, and while they are in line for some progression, we need to see them do it. They were a fun story last season, but they could easily fall back down now that teams have more game film on them.

LA is loaded on both sides of the ball and should be taken more seriously. Led by Justin Herbert, LA will likely have one of the best offenses around the NFL again. Then on defense, they have studs like Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack leading the way. They should also be getting star cornerback J.C. Jackson back from injury as well.

Going by these odds, LA is +2500 to win it all. That seems like a steal to me, and I'd recommend anyone to hammer that.

Okay, be right back, I need to run to the ATM real quick...
