Your Los Angeles Chargers are finally back on the gridiron together. It is a joyous time as the game of football is back, and we get to see our favorite players get back to work.

However, the work never stops for these professional athletes as they train for the upcoming season and take the necessary steps to better themselves. It's every player's job to do just that, but others' off-season work is more noticeable, like Chargers star defensive end Joey Bosa

Bosa spoke to the media earlier today and said he added some significant weight to help improve his game.

Joey Bosa said he added about 15-20 lbs this offseason to get back to the weight he was playing at in his first 5 seasons. He said the extra weight will help him us use his power more as a rusher and play “dirty” against the run.

That is some major weight for the eight-year veteran. We'll need all Bosa and offer and more, as he missed most of 2022 due to a groin injury. Bosa seems like he's ready to redeem himself and prepared like it.

He's only played 33 out of the possible 50 games in the past three seasons. Bosa will look to get past his injury woes and display his Pro Bowl talent in a crucial 2023 season.

He did his job in the offseason, and now he will put that work onto the gridiron. We cannot wait to see him produce and return to an All-Pro-type player.
