Entering the new NFL season, your Los Angeles Chargers were hopeful that they had put their issues aside after last season. There was a new optimism in the building, and they were ready to prove people wrong.

But through the first two weeks, the opposite has happened. LA dropped the first two games of the season, and now face the reality of having to climb back behind the eight-ball.

And yet, even with how the Chargers have struggled to open the season, the odds on them winning the Super Bowl remain decently high. This means that the odds makers aren’t panicking about the Chargers just yet, and this is a great time to drop some money on them to win it all.

According to BetMGM, Los Angeles holds a +450 odds to win the AFC West, and a +3000 odds to win the Super Bowl. Both of these remain in relatively good spots, despite what we have seen on the field so far.

They likely have a better chance to win the AFC West right now than the Super Bowl, but things can change in a hurry. Their division hasn’t looked overly impressive so far this season, so the Chargers are very much alive in that race.

The Bolts have one of the better rosters in the entire league, but their issue has been the inability to close games. It has plagued them for quite some time now, and it has reared its ugly head once again this season.

In both games so far, the Chargers have had chances to win the game. It is what has made things so frustrating for everyone involved because they essentially beat themselves.

Things will need to change quickly for Los Angeles, otherwise, we will see some big changes happen to this franchise. Head coach Brandon Staley will likely be the first personnel member to go if they can’t turn things around.

This coming weekend will tell us a lot about what this Bolts team is made of. They head out on the road to take on the equally desperate Minnesota Vikings, in what should be a very exciting matchup between two 0-2 teams.

With their backs against the wall, will they come out with something to prove, or will they once again come up flat? It is put up or shut up time for the Chargers, and there can’t be any more excuses for the rest of the season.
