New Chargers HC Jim Harbaugh Scheduled to Face His Brother at SoFi Stadium in 2024
The Los Angeles Chargers got their guy! Jim Harbaugh and the Los Angeles Chargers have agreed to terms, and he will be LA’s 18th franchise head coach. This is a slam dunk for the Bolts, and fans are elated by the news.
Now, we look forward. Harbaugh to LA will change the dynamics of this team, and we can’t wait for the 2024 season to get going. All eyes will be on the Chargers and how they perform next season. There’s a lot to look forward to, but one game we already circled on our calendar is when the Baltimore Ravens travel to Los Angeles to take on the Bolts. It will be the matchup of the Harbaugh brothers, Jim vs. John.
John has been the Ravens’ head coach for 16 seasons, while Jim has bounced around from the college game to the NFL, back to college, and now back to the NFL in that time frame.
The matchup between the Chargers and Ravens will now be considered a primetime matchup as the brothers will face each other in the NFL again. Jim and John faced each other in Super Bowl 47 when Jim was the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. The older brother, John, got the upper hand in that matchup.
The Chargers dropped their matchup against the Ravens in 2023 when Baltimore came to LA on Sunday Night Football.
This will be an all-time matchup, and you know Jim will want to get his revenge.
