The Kansas City Chiefs' playoff journey continues, this time in Orchard Park against the Buffalo Bills in a rematch of the 2021-22 campaign's Divisional Round meeting.

In a matchup between two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, the stakes are high on Sunday. Both squads have championship aspirations, although neither's regular season went exactly as planned. Despite that, here they are, just one win away from advancing to the AFC Championship Game.

As expected, no one is truly 100% healthy this late into the season. Kansas City and Buffalo ruled out several players entering the Divisional Round, with others carrying questionable designations into the weekend. The war of attrition will undoubtedly play a role in how the action unfolds this evening.

Ahead of their outing on the road, the Chiefs' list of inactive players has been released. Here's who won't suit up for Kansas City:

  • WR Kadarius Toney
  • CB Ekow Boye-Doe
  • DE BJ Thompson
  • OL Wanya Morris
  • DT Derrick Nnadi
  • DT Neil Farrell
  • DE Felix Anudike-Uzomah

On Friday afternoon, head coach Andy Reid announced that the trio of nose tackle Derrick Nnadi, wide receiver Skyy Moore and left tackle Wanya Morris would be inactive for Sunday's game. On Saturday, the club downgraded wideout Kadarius Toney from questionable to out. At the same time, defensive lineman Charles Omenihu and linebacker Willie Gay Jr. were deemed questionable with respective ailments. That added some uncertainty to Kansas City's injury report, although Sunday's pregame list provides clarity.

Fortunately for the Chiefs, Omenihu and Gay are active for the Divisional Round. Elsewhere, rookie defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah is a healthy scratch for the second playoff game in a row. He's joined by fellow young defensive players like Ekow Boye-Doe, BJ Thompson and Neil Farrell. There aren't any last-minute surprises on the list for the visitors.

The Bills' inactives have also been released:

  • WR Gabe Davis
  • S Taylor Rapp
  • LB Terrel Bernard
  • CB Christian Benford
  • LB Baylon Spector
  • OL Alec Anderson
  • DT Poona Ford

Buffalo had a laundry list of injuries this week, with four players being ruled out on Friday. The questionable player to watch was linebacker Terrel Bernard, who suffered an ankle injury in a Wild Card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers but was given a chance to show before this weekend's game that he could play through the pain. He'll miss the Divisional Round, however, joining teammates like Gabe Davis, Taylor Rapp and others on the Bills' inactive list.
