In June, Kansas City Chiefs mega-star Patrick Mahomes tweeted out the trailer for an upcoming series he was starring in alongside Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota of the Philadelphia Eagles. Less than a month later, Quarterback has officially arrived on Netflix.

The eight-episode series, which totals over six-and-a-half hours in run time, is a Netflix exclusive that was produced by Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions, NFL Films and Mahomes's own 2PM Productions company. This Netflix exclusive (that requires a subscription to the streaming service in order to watch) takes viewers into the lives of three players both on and off the field in some triumphant, challenging and life-changing moments.

Mahomes experienced the highest of highs and some tough defeats with the Chiefs; Cousins has had a roller coaster of a tenure with the Vikings and Mariota's lone season with the Atlanta Falcons was far from perfect. Quarterback dives into it all and provides seemingly unparalleled access to all three players.

Here's what Mahomes had to say about the show in advance of its release:

“I’m excited for fans to get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at an unforgettable season for the entire Chiefs organization and for my family. From welcoming home a new baby in the middle of the season to welcoming the Lombardi Trophy back to Kansas City, our crew was there for it all. This new Netflix series will show the time, preparation and balance that it takes to be an NFL quarterback and perform on the biggest stage.”

If you have an active Netflix subscription or are planning on signing up for an account soon, here's a glimpse at what you'll be getting into when you watch Quarterback
