'Bad Girl' Taylor Swift? Dallas Cowboys' Micah Parsons Scouts Travis Kelce Chiefs Stats
FRISCO - We suppose we don't follow the issue quite closely enough as it expands beyond the NFL scene, so we are going to have to take Micah Parsons' word for it when he labels pop music sensation Taylor Swift "a bad girl.''
At the same time, we do get what the Dallas Cowboys star Parsons is saying when he playfully agrees with the suggestion that Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce - long the best in the business - achieves an even higher level of performance when his new girlfriend Swift is involved.
“Travis Kelce’s my boy,” Parsons said on his podcast "The Edge.'' “Best tight end in the league for like the past three, four years, so it’s obviously not (just about) Taylor Swift. But I’m gonna tell y’all one thing. When there is a bad girl and she’s in attendance and she’s watching you, that gives you an extra boost of confidence.”
OK ... But Micah is on to something statistically. As an NFL on CBS graphic showed on Sunday during the 6-1 Chiefs' latest win, as he entered Week 7, Kelce has been averaging 46.5 yards per game this year when Swift is not in attendance at the game ... with that number jumping up to an average of 99 yards per game when Swift has been present.

And in Sunday’s win over the Chargers? It was Kelce’s best performance of the season, as he teamed up with quarterback Patrick Mahomes and caught 12 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown. That means Kelce is "good'' ... though we're still not sure that it means Swift is "bad.''
