Cowboys VIDEO: Brandin Cooks Pilots Plane - with Micah & Gilmore Aboard!

Dallas Cowboys receiver Brandin Cooks took edge rusher Micah Parsons and cornerback Stephon Gilmore on a plane tour before their second preseason game.

Every player involved in an offseason trade wants to help elevate their new team. Dallas Cowboys receiver Brandin Cooks has given that idea new meaning.

Cooks took to the skies on Saturday with edge rusher Micah Parsons and cornerback Stephon Gilmore in tow. A licensed pilot, Cooks gave them a bird’s eye view of Lumen Field, where they would take on the Seattle Seahawks.

It is safe to say the joyride was the most exciting part of the weekend.

“They need to let me do the fly over for the National Anthem,” said Cooks on Instagram.

There is building trust with your new coworkers, and there is casually flying them to work. Perhaps the Cowboys had a little too much fun.

“They let the wrong ones in the sky,” he captioned a clip with his teammates.

Surely, some fans would prefer not to see three of the team's most important players thousands of feet in the air, but all's well that ends well.

Unfortunately for Dallas, Saturday night did not come to as exhilarating of a finish. The Cowboys fell to the Seahawks, 22-14. They head home to host the Las Vegas Raiders for their final preseason matchup. The Cowboys have yet to confirm if their aviation enthusiasts, and other starters, will suit up for the dress rehearsal.

Dallas acquired Cooks for a fifth-round pick in 2023 and a sixth-round pick in 2024. If he acclimates to the offense as quickly as he earned the confidence of his teammates, the Cowboys will be in good hands.

Cooks has seemingly found his place on this Dallas roster, bonding with co-stars and building rapport with quarterback Dak Prescott. They start their march toward postseason play on Sept. 10 against the New York Giants.
