FRISCO - Dak Prescott was selected as the 2022 NFL Man of the Year - in many ways the league's highest individual honor - largely because of his societal contributions off the field.

But as he helps his Dallas Cowboys to a 2-0 start this season, he's also found a way to combine his charitable thoughts with his football actions ... in the form of the cleats he wore in a 30-10 win over the New York Jets.

The Cowboys quarterback recognized "National Suicide Prevention Week'' by wearing Jordan 1 cleats that were fully decorated with messages that were advocating for recognition of the cause ... and a way to help people in need.

Dak's left shoe was painted with blue tones and featured the “Call 988” message ... as 988 is the hotline for the National Center for Mental Health Crisis.

The right shoe had a red background with the text number 741741.

Prescott has been bravely outspoken about his personal dealings with the death of his mother and more recently, his brother's suicide. Mental health is important to Dak on every level, as he is demonstrating by his public advocacy of the cause.
