Dallas Cowboys Ex Kellen Moore to Coach for Philadelphia Eagles or Browns?

FRISCO - Former Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator is likely out of a job in Los Angeles as the Chargers have made their head coach move with Jim Harbaugh … all of which we detailed early Thursday with the news that Harbaugh might bring Colin Kaepernick onto his new staff.

That leaves Moore in job-hunt mode, with NFL Network noting that the Browns and the Eagles have both requested permission to speak with Moore about interviewing for the same position on their respective teams.

Permission is needed because Moore hasn’t officially been let out of his Chargers deal just yet.

Moore, 35, joined L.A. last offseason after four seasons as Dallas’ offensive coordinator, where he oversaw one of the league’s best offenses … only to have head coach Mike McCarthy appoint himself as the play-caller while helping to engineer Moore’s exit.

The Browns fired offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt, with head coach Kevin Stefanski likely to remain his own play-caller..

Colin Kaepernick to Replace Kellen Moore?

Meanwhile, the Eagles dumped offensive coordinator Brian Johnson, with Philadelphia head coach Nick Sirianni now searching for a new top aide from a list that also includes Kliff Kingsbury.

Kellen vs. the Cowboys? A compelling thought for 2024, no doubt.
