'Crazy Frat Guy!' Cowboys' Micah Parsons Scouts Bills QB Josh Allen

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons had a playful analogy for Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen ahead of Sunday's matchup: He's a "crazy frat guy.''

The Dallas Cowboys' stifling defense will be tested as they face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills' offense in a battle of strengths on Sunday.

Containing Allen will be critical for the Cowboys on Sunday, and as the face of the defense, All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons will bear the brunt of that responsibility. Naturally, the star pass-rusher has been doing his research on his opponent, and he gave an astute, yet humorous description of the quarterback while speaking to reporters on Thursday.

“Josh doesn’t really believe in sliding," Parsons said. "You know, Josh reminds me a lot of that one crazy guy at the frat. … He’s that wild dude on the field. He wants to dip his shoulder, talk trash, he’s gonna get rowdy.”

Parsons is right that Allen, who stands tall at 6-5 and 237 pounds, isn't always keen on sliding, and he's far from the first to notice it. Tom Brady even made a point about it when Allen was a guest on his podcast, but the Bills quarterback doesn't seem keen on changing his play style any time soon.

"He is right, I'm not saying that he's wrong, but you can get hurt in the pocket just as much as you can outside the pocket," Allen said. "That's the only caveat that I have for that. ... You gotta go win a football game and sometimes that calls upon me doing something like putting my body on the line for my teammates because of how much I do love my teammates and how much I see them working their tails off too."

Dak Prescott vs. Josh Allen: NFL MVP ‘Finish Line’?

Granted, Allen has shown more of a willingness to slide or go out of bounds this season, but the 27-year-old is still willing to put his body on the line when the situation comes to it.

Whether it's by tackling Allen or him going down on his own volition, the Cowboys will need to limit the star quarterback to win on Sunday.
