Jerry Jones Predicts Dallas Cowboys in 'Serious (Bleep)' at Philadelphia Eagles
Jerry Jones is known to speak his mind unapologetically, especially when talking about his football team, the Dallas Cowboys. He did so when looking towards the Cowboys' Week 9 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Cowboys just exited Week 8 with another win on their record and a dominant performance, both offensively and defensively. The Los Angeles Rams suffered a 43-20 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday. Looking ahead though, Jones has expressed the importance of ending the week with a win against the Eagles.
"This is serious (bleep) that we're dealing with up here Sunday, man," Jones said during his weekly radio appearance on 105.3 The Fan. "We've got to really have our game face on.''
Dak: 'Pour Honey on Me!' as Cowboys to 'Poke the Bear' at Eagles
Dallas QB Dak Prescott has had some almost unstoppable performances on the field recently after suffering a horrendous 42-10 loss against the 49ers a few weeks ago. In just two games following his out-of-character performance against San Francisco, Prescott has completed 75.3% of his passing attempts for a total of 576 yards, five passing touchdowns, and one rushing score while only giving up one interception.
The Cowboys' roster looks up to Prescott as a leader as he exudes an abundance of confidence in his team and his abilities. ... and for good reason: Prescott has yet to lose a regular-season matchup to the Philadelphia Eagles since 2019, and his all-time record against this rival is 8-3.
Still, Jerry Jones has reason to be concerned - and reason to be excited.
"Philadelphia is a tough place to get your momentum going,'' Jones said, "but, to me, this is all about just what the NFL can be."
