CeeDee Lamb TD Extends Cowboys Lead Over Commanders Before Halftime
The Dallas Cowboys have taken a much more comfortable 21-10 lead over the Washington Commanders into the locker room for halftime after a stretch of play that could've prompted flashbacks to last season's Week 18 upset.
However, after the Commanders found big momentum plays with a blocked field goal and an interception early, both of which turned into points for Washington, the Cowboys found their own big play on defense with a Donovan Wilson interception.
Like the Commanders did following Prescott's interception, the Cowboys turned the takeaway into points as Dak Prescott led Dallas on a quick six-play drive where he found his star receiver, CeeDee Lamb, for a four-yard touchdown.
The touchdown was Lamb's first of the game as he's totaled 58 yards on seven receptions through the first 30 minutes of play, while Prescott has nearly been flawless with the interception aside as he's completed 17 of his 21 passes for 167 yards and two scores.
