Cowboys Draft EXCLUSIVE: What's Oregon's Jackson Powers-Johnson - Tyler Biadasz Replacement? - Say About Dallas?

FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys could have several holes to fill in the roster due to losses in free agency. Some of those positions could be filled from the outside on the open market, but others could be filled in April's NFL Draft.

A lot has been said about the need for Dallas to replenish its offensive line this offseason. Tackles Tyron Smith and Chuma Edoga are free agents, as is center Tyler Biadasz.

A player in the draft who fits the profile of some of the elite centers in the league is Oregon's Jackson Powers-Johnson.

Many analysts think Powers-Johnson is one of the top center prospects in the upcoming draft, and he impressed at the Senior Bowl.

He started for just one season for the Ducks but was named a consensus All-American last season and showed he could be a factor playing on Sundays.

Powers-Johnson isn't a perfectly polished prospect by any means, and you'd like a first-round pick to be able to contribute right away.

Some draft experts have Powers-Johnson as a Week 1 starter in 2024, and Dallas could use an upgrade at center, which he would be.

And what does Powers-Johnson himself think of the idea of coming to Dallas? Watch our exclusive video above as CowboysSI.com's Bri Amaranthus asks him that very question!

Biadasz does have a Pro Bowl selection to his name, but it was because other players in front of him chose not to attend. If the Cowboys decide to replace him by not bidding high on him in free agency, it's because they think he's reached his ceiling, and they might be right.

While some believe Powers-Johnson to be an early second-round talent, Dallas has been known to take a player earlier if they think he's their guy.
