Dallas Cowboys' Jake Ferguson Rumor: Dating TikTok WWE Star Haley Cavinder?
Right now, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is the darling of the NFL world due to his new relationship with global music sensation Taylor Swift.
However, he may not be the only tight end in the celebrity dating game. According to a prevelant rumor, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson is dating Haley Cavinder, a social media personality and former college basketball player for the Miami Hurricanes. At this point, though, calling it a rumor may be an understatement.
The first indication of a potential relationship was when Cavinder, despite being an outspoken Cowboys fan, was invited as a VIP to Dallas' game against the New York Giants alongside her twin sister Hanna Cavinder. Haley originally wore a No. 87 Cowboys jersey bearing Ferguson's name to the game, but later removed it as she was a guest for the Giants. She also posted a video before the game of her in the same jersey with the caption "I am on to see my husband," and later posted about almost missing their Uber to meet Ferguson after the game, although she didn't mention him by name.
“After the game, it was pouring down rain and I was using his jersey as an umbrella and I tried to go find him to say what’s up and he was in the Cowboys visiting center and I walked in in a New York Giants shirt and everybody was staring,” Haley said.
Additionally, the Phoenix-native twins attended Dallas' game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
If that wasn't enough evidence, Haley recently posted pictures on Instagram of her wearing a Cowboys T-shirt, to which Ferguson commented "Gollleeeee how bout ‘em," complete with a heart eyes emoji. Her sister also commented "soooo is this a soft launch?? or," hinting at the idea of Haley going public with the relationship.
Haley and Hanna have garnered quite the social media following, with their joint TikTok account having 4.5 million followers. The two are also known for their basketball days, and in March, they helped the Hurricanes reach the Elite Eight for the first time ever. After graduating from Miami, the twins have both signed NIL deals with WWE.
Meanwhile, Ferguson, a 2022 fourth-round pick out of Wisconsin, has 10 receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown this season. ... and a lovely friend.
