Dallas Cowboys Celebrate Brandin Cooks' Monster Game with Dak Prescott

Dallas Cowboys receiver Brandin Cooks had been waiting for his time to shine all season long. On Sunday, when the Cowboys faced the New York Giants, the veteran receiver finally got the opportunity. ... and he was a big-time contributor to a 49-17 win.

Said Cooks after the win, reflecting on Galatians 6:9-10: “Don’t grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time you will reap a harvest if you don’t give up.''

Cooks' performance in the first eight games of the season had been fairly 'forgettable' ... and yes, the "harvest'' was slow to come,

In the first seven games, the veteran receiver only recorded a total of 17 catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns.

Given that the Cowboys traded for Cooks in the offseason, many fans were shocked at his lack of targets and attention on the field. 

However, on Sunday, Cooks appeared to be a completely different player. ... or maybe he was just allowed a completely different role in coach Mike McCarthy's "Texas Coast Offense.''

 In just the first half of this matchup, Cooks set season-highs in catches and yards. He recorded seven catches for 104 total yards as well as a touchdown.

By the conclusion of the game, nine passes were caught by the veteran receiver for 173 yards total.

Fans were waiting for an explosion game by Cooks all season, and they finally got what they were hoping for. Here's how Cowboys fans reacted to Cooks' standout game on X (formerly known as Twitter).
