Michael Irvin BREAKING: Lawsuit Settled, Cowboys Ex Re-Joins NFL Network

Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irvin was never fired by NFL Network, and now that his sexual harassment controversy.is settled, he’s coming back to TV.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irvin was never fired by NFL Network and in fact continued to collect his normal paycheck for the last seven months even while not being allowed to work while involved in a sexual harassment controversy.

But this weekend a settlement was reached with Marriott in his $100 million defamation lawsuit, and as the Dallas News has noted, suddenly he is set to re-appear on NFL Network on Sunday morning.

A woman’s accusation in February at the start of Super Bowl Week in Arizona caused him to be removed from his on-air assignments. He also ceased appearing on ESPN and has since taking a job on “Undisputed” with Skip Bayless on FS1.

“I did nothing wrong!” Irvin reiterated to CowboysSI.com recently.

Irvin was not only removed from the air during that Super Bowl Week but was also removed from the hotel. That means NFL Network - and by extension the NFL itself - was taking a wait-and-see approach to his innocence. His financial arrangement with the network also explains why he did not include the network in his lawsuit.

Irvin is a Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee and a three-time Super Bowl winner with the Cowboys who has become one of the most colorful voices in sports media. ... and now, his supporters will surely argue, is back where he belongs.
