CeeDee Lamb Reveals Injury Plan: ‘I’m Straight! I’ll Be Out There!’ for Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving - FISH PODCAST
FRISCO - The game-day availability this week of Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is "not of high concern,'' as stated by head coach Mike McCarthy on Monday.
But the stellar Lamb was listed as "limited'' on the Monday practice report with an ankle injury. And this is a short Thanksgiving week before the Cowboys (7-3) welcome the Washington Commanders (4-7) on Thursday, all part of a schedule crunch that saw Dallas win at Carolina on Sunday and now features consecutive Thursday games with Seattle (6-4) visiting Dallas on Nov. 30.
So, what is the Tuesday update from The Star? CeeDee is handling that one himself ….
“I’m straight,” Lamb said to the media on Tuesday afternoon. “I’ll be out there.”
This confirms the earlier word of the boss, as Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan had said, “He’s in good shape. … Right now I’d give him a thumbs up” for Thursday’s game.
Some have speculated that Lamb appeared to injure his ankle after catching a crossing route in the Cowboys' win at Carolina on Sunday. And he was a bit slow getting to his feet after that play ... but then showed no particular signs of discomfort as he ended up catching six passes for 38 yards and a touchdown for Dallas.
Lamb has been on a record-setting pace and is obviously central to the Dak Prescott-led "Texas Coast Offense,'' and despite the situation "not being of high concern,'' still merits watching.

The Cowboys will practice today here inside The Star and then McCarthy will oversee his usual "mock game'' (a walkthrough) on the day before the actual game. At this point, Lamb is expected to participate in the Wednesday workout and to play in Thursday's game at AT&T Stadium, with Dallas registering as an 11-point favorite over the faltering Commanders, their NFC East rival.
