Eagles Wearing 'Big-Boy Pants' For Cowboys Showdown: Philadelphia at Dallas FISH PODCAST
FRISCO - The wisest among the members of the Philadelphia Eagles get it. It's not about hype. It's not about trash talk. It's not about attempts at manliness via sideline scuffles.
And hey, the Eagles just got done showing none of those things work, anyway, as they tried all of that and got crushed by the San Francisco 49ers anyway.
So this week? Pending coach Nick Sirianni unleashing one of his trademark over-emotional "Beat Dallas'' rants, the 10-2 NFC East leaders seem to have a grasp of what this week's "Sunday Night Football'' showdown at 9-3 Dallas means.
“You gotta think about Dallas,” said receiver A.J. Brown, smart to turn the page after the Eagles' 42-19 blowout loss against the San Francisco 49ers “That’s the only game we got coming up so far. .... We gotta focus on Dallas, clean up the mistakes, and continue to grow.
“Mope around, be mad or be sad at yourself about it (the 49ers loss), but we got a big opponent coming up next weekend, Dallas on the road. We gotta put our big-boy pants on. That’s life.''
Dallas has won 14 straight at home; that's an Eagles challenge. Oh, and next week, Philly plays at the Seattle Seahawks, a team that is 6-6 heading into this week’s game against the 49ers and will surely be in desperation mode to in its bid to return to the playoffs.
So it's "Dallas Week'' and "Eagles Week'' and "Big-Boy Pants Week'' all around ... and we break it all down in the Fish Podcast and the Fish Report here!
