FSU QB Jordan Travis Suffers Gruesome Leg Injury
It looks like Florida State will have to finish their march to the College Football Playoff without quarterback Jordan Travis.
The Seminoles' signal-caller went down in the first half of Saturday night's game against Northern Alabama with a gruesome leg injury. It was the kind of injury that would require a content warning, and one that viewers would be better off having not seen the replay (which is why we're not sharing it here).
One of the most impressive quarterbacks in all of college football over the past two seasons, Travis was taken from Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee by ambulance, per ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Travis is one of the more intriguing quarterback prospects in a deep 2024 NFL Draft class at the position, but time will tell what kind of impact this injury (and subsequent rehab process and recovery timeline) will have on his draft stock after the season.
Here's hoping Travis is able to make a full recovery as soon as possible, as the Seminoles likely regroup before heading into their most important stretch of the season without their quarterback.
