How Many Picks Do Eagles Have in 2023 NFL Draft?
The Philadelphia Eagles will pick early and not often in the 2023 NFL Draft.
General manager Howie Roseman and company will be on the clock multiple times in the first round of the draft on April 27. However, the Eagles aren't currently slated to pick at all in the fourth, fifth or sixth rounds of the draft.
Here's a look at all the picks that the Eagles have in the 2023 NFL Draft:
Round 1, Pick 10: The Eagles acquired this pick in a trade from the New Orleans Saints in April of 2022. By virtue of the Saints 7-10 record this past season, the pick is 10th overall
Round 1, Pick 30: Normally, the team that loses in the Super Bowl has the 31st pick in the next year's draft. However, the Miami Dolphins lost their first-round pick as a penalty for tampering with Tom Brady and Sean Payton while they were under contract with other franchises. So the Eagles have the 30th pick, which this year will be the penultimate pick in the opening round.
Round 2, Pick 62: The Eagles have the 31st overall pick in the second round.
Round 3, Pick 94: The Eagles have the 31st overall pick in the third round.
Round 7, Pick 219: This second pick in the final round of the draft initially belonged to the Houston Texans and was acquired by the Eagles when they traded former first-round pick Jalen Reagor to the Minnesota Vikings in August of 2022.
Round 7, Pick 248: This is the final pick that the Eagles are scheduled to have in 2023.
In total, the Eagles are scheduled to have six picks in the 2023 NFL Draft. That puts more pressure on Roseman and company to hit on the selections that the Eagles do possess and/or trade one of their two first-round picks to recoup additional lottery tickets.
