With the 2023 NFL Draft done, analysts are already starting to roll out their 2024 mocks. And the one from Todd McShay has the Philadelphia Eagles landing Clemson linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. at No. 30 overall.

Trotter Jr. hails from Philadelphia, where he attended St. Joseph's Preparatory School for his high school football career. Notably, he is the son of Jeremiah Trotter Sr., a 2016 inductee into the Eagles Hall of Fame.

Trotter Sr. was selected in the third round by the Eagles in 1998 and swiftly ascended to become their starting middle linebacker by his second season in the NFL. Throughout 1999-2001, Trotter was the team leader in tackles and was named a first-team All-Pro in 2000.

After a two-year stint with the Washington Redskins from 2002-2003, Trotter returned to Philadelphia in 2004 and helped the team reach Super Bowl XXXIX, where they lost 24-21 to the New England Patriots. Trotter was named to the 2005 Pro Bowl the following season, which would be his fourth and final selection.

Trotter Jr.'s exceptional performance at Clemson last year, highlighted by his 91 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 8.5 tackles for loss, seven pass breakups, two interceptions, and a forced fumble, positions him as a valued prospect for the Eagles … or whichever team ends up landing him.
