Philadelphia Eagles' A.J. Brown, Jalen Hurts Duo: 'Best In The World!'

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown believes him and Jalen Hurts reach another level playing together.
In this story:

When the Philadelphia Eagles traded for wide receiver A.J. Brown on draft night in 2022, one of the first things he did was FaceTime with his good friend, quarterback Jalen Hurts

A season and a half later, the two are thriving together and coming off of a Super Bowl appearance and Pro Bowl seasons. Their success has Brown's confidence sky high.

"I wouldn't say I was always this good but I always believed in myself and I always just went to work," Brown said via Speak. "But when I got to Philadelphia, playing alongside my brother Jalen Hurts and just being comfortable playing with him, I feel like we could do anything and everything whenever we step on the field. We feel like we're the best in the world as soon as we step on the field and everybody's come to see us. That's the mindset we have when we come out to play."

Through nine games this season, Brown has 67 receptions for 1,005 yards and six touchdowns. In Week 8, he broke Calvin Johnson's record for most consecutive games with 125 or more receiving yards by doing it in his sixth-straight game.

Hurts has also been on a tear, completing 68.9 percent of his passes for 2,347 yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for 316 yards and another seven touchdowns. In a 28-23 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Hurts broke the franchise record for most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in Eagles history with his 33rd in just his third season as the full time starter.

At 8-1, Philadelphia has the best record in the NFL heading into its bye week during Week 10. Once that bye is over, it will face possibly its toughest challenge yet, a Super Bowl rematch with the 7-2 Kansas City Chiefs. The game will be on Monday Night Football in Kansas City on Nov. 20 at 8:15 p.m.
