Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni made his case for the tush push not to be banned after using it en route to a 31-17 win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football.

"Jason Kelce starts it off, Jalen Hurts, you know, is right there being able to drive," Sirianni said. "Cause you've seen it. You've seen it across the league that people can't do it like we can do it, they can't do it like we can do it. And so I'm making my plug right there. Don't ban this play. If everyone could do it, everybody would. Where's the camera? If everybody could do it, everybody would do it."

The Eagles used the play twice on 4th-and-1 and once on the goal line against the Dolphins, successfully gaining a first down or a touchdown each time. The first time they used the tush push, the play had to be replayed due to offsetting offsides, even though the hand on Philadelphia's side was Jason Kelce's, which is legal. It didn't matter as they lined up again and converted once more.

This season, talk of banning the play has gained traction as fans, players and coaches on opposing teams have complained about how unstoppable it is. However, there has been large push back due to no other NFL team finding anywhere near the success that the Eagles have in those situations or on the tush push.

None of the other 29 teams have Hurts lining up behind six-time Pro Bowler and five-time First Team All-Pro center Jason Kelce.

For the foreseeable future, the play remains legal and Philadelphia will continue to use it each week, starting with Week 8's matchup on the road with the Washington Commanders on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
