Philadelphia Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith has a new nickname for teammate and kicker Jake Elliott after he hit a game-winning field goal at home to beat the Washington Commanders, 34-31 on Sunday.

"Chicken Little, what he can't do?" Smith said. "That's just what I call him. Y'all ever seen Chicken Little? That's what he looks like, Chicken Little. I mean we always have faith in Jake man, once I caught the last pass, I already knew that Jake finna go out here, finna do what he do."

On 3rd-and-17 in overtime, Smith caught a nine-yard pass from quarterback Jalen Hurts to set up a field goal. From 54 yards out, Elliott stepped up and boomed his kick through the uprights to give the Eagles the win and keep them undefeated at 4-0.

Elliott went 4 of 4 on the day, which puts him at 13 of 14 with a long of 61 yards this season and the only miss coming from 50-plus yards out. He is also 9 of 10 on extra points and in total has scored 48 points.

The Pro Bowl kicker has been money from deep this year, making 4 of 5 of his field goals from 50 or more yards. Elliott has been Philadelphia's kicker since they signed him as a rookie in 2017 off of the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad.

After the game, Elliott took to Instagram to post a photo of the team lifting him after he won the game.

In the comments, Smith wrote "Yessir chicken little !!!" Elliott responded with "I'm gonna need to put an end to this s*** ... nickname vetoed."

Smith had a solid game himself, hauling in seven receptions for 78 yards on the day.

The Eagles will be back in action against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. inside SoFi Stadium. Philly will try to get out to a 5-0 start for the second straight season.
