When the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night to close out Wild Card Weekend, the services of star receiver DeVonta Smith will be in action.

Smith missed the Eagles' Week 18 game against the New York Giants, which saw Philadelphia get handled for its fifth loss in six games. It was the first time in Smith's three seasons that he missed a game, having played in all 17 in his first two years in the league. Now, he will make his return when the team needs him most as they head to Florida for the first round of the playoffs.

"I'm good," Smith said. "I'll be there, count me in."

It was an ankle injury he suffered in Week 17's loss to the Arizona Cardinals that kept Smith out of the Week 18 game in New Jersey, but this week he has worked his way back to being listed as a full participant in practice, setting him up to be available on Monday night.

This season, Smith caught 81 passes for 1,066 yards and tied a career-high with seven touchdowns. As always, he kept his calm and cool demeanor when asked about his feelings on the possibility of being eliminated and having the season end.

"It's just another game," Smith said. "Chips' just a little high, you know, win or go home."

Smith's availability for the game could prove to be huge as star wide receiver A.J. Brown continues to recover from a knee injury he suffered against the Giants. Brown's status for the game is still up in the air after missing practice on Thursday.
