Eagles Future: How Many Picks in 2024 NFL Draft?

Here's a look at the picks the Philadelphia Eagles are slated to have in the 2024 NFL Draft.
In this story:

With the 2023 NFL Draft behind us, here's a look at all the picks that Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles are slated to have in 2024.

First-Round Pick: Unless there is a major trade, 2024 will mark the first time that the Eagles enter the NFL Draft with only one pick in the top round since 2021.

Second-Round Pick: The Eagles still own the rights to their own second-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Second-Round Pick: This pick originally belonged to the New Orleans Saints, but was traded to the Eagles in the April 2022 deal that saw the two teams swap a pair of first-round picks.

Third-Round Pick (Compensatory): As Brandon Lee Gowton of Bleeding Green Nation points out, this is the first of four potential compensatory selections for the Eagles in 2024. This one would come courtesy of defensive tackle Javon Hargrave leaving to sign a four-year/$84 million deal with the San Francisco 49ers in free agency.

Fifth-Round Pick (Conditional): This selection comes courtesy of the Minnesota Vikings, and was acquired in the Jalen Reagor trade made prior to the 2022 season. It's a conditional fifth that can become a fourth, and Jimmy Kempski of Philly Voice obtained the exact conditions. It's probably fair to assume Reager will fall short of the production needed and this will be a fifth-round pick.

Fifth-Round Pick: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded this selection to the Eagles to acquire the 191st pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, which they used to select former Nebraska wide receiver Trey Palmer

Fifth-Round Pick (Compensatory): Offensive guard Isaac Seumalo departed in free agency, agreeing to a three-year/$24 million with the Pittsburgh Steelers

Fifth-Round Pick (Compensatory): Former first-round pick Andre Dillard signed a three-year/$29 million deal with the Tennessee Titans in free agency, giving the Eagles another projected comp pick.

Sixth-Round Pick: In August of 2022, the Eagles traded defensive back Ugo Amadi to the Titans, along with a seventh-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. In return, they will have the chance to swap sixth-round picks in 2024. If the Titans have a higher pick in the sixth round -- which seems likely to be the case -- the Eagles will take Tennessee's sixth-round pick, and give their original pick away as part of the deal.

Sixth-Round Pick (Compensatory): While most Eagles fans would have preferred to retain safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Philadelphia is projected to receive a comp pick after he left to sign with the Detroit Lions.
