Ahead of a Monday Night Football loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the Philadelphia Eagles announced a big change to the coaching staff, that Matt Patricia would be taking over defensive play-calling duties from Sean Desai.

It has now been a couple weeks of less than ideal performances from the defense and defensive end Haason Reddick addressed how the unit is dealing with the changes.

"I think a lot of it," Reddick said. "We changed coordinators. They got a different style, a different way they want things done, and that's pretty much what it is. [Matt] Patricia's in there now -- he has a certain way that he would like things to be done, and we're doing our best to adapt to that in this time period that we have, trying to get everybody on the same page moving forward, that way we can be great in the playoffs."

The defense has struggled this season, giving up 25.1 points per game to opponents, the fourth-worst mark in the league. Against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17, the Eagles gave up a touchdown on all four of the Cardinals' second-half drives while losing the game 35-31.

This season, Reddick has recorded 37 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 11 sacks and one pass defended. While it's an impressive line for the year, he was unable to come near his production from last season when he had a career-high 16.0 sacks and a league-leading five forced fumbles.
