Colin Cowherd isn't panicking about the Philadelphia Eagles.

Many players, fans, and analysts are panicking about the Philadelphia Eagles following their third-straight loss on Monday Night.

Just not Colin Cowherd.

Following the Birds' 20-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field in Primetime, the FOX Sports 1 host of "The Herd" made it clear that it wasn't time to panic regarding the defending NFC Champions.

"Philadelphia, chill out!" Cowherd said. "Your schedule was tougher. You just went on the road cross-country, your quarterback was sick, had to fly out individually, you controlled the game ... Drew Lock just had the greatest play of his life."

Philadelphia had five more minutes of time of possession on Monday night and out-gained the Seahawks in total yards, and rushing. It's for that reason why Cowherd believes that the team is going to be fine once the playoffs begin, and the current stretch of losing ends.

"If you took the 49ers out right now, think about the playoffs - Detroit at Philly? I'll take Philly. Rams at Philly? I'll take Philly. Tampa at Philly? I'll take Philly. Dallas, schedule tougher, it's a coin flip, and I'd probably still take Philly."

Of the teams currently in a playoff position in the NFC, the Eagles have beaten four of them - a big reason for many people beginning to realize that while the team may be struggling, the group that started 2023 10-1 is still in there somewhere.

The recent stretch has also been a clear sign that while the Eagles have been able to win a lot of games in their recent run of dominance, the tide has begun to turn to what they were originally.

A fact laid out by Cowherd as well.

"The problem with the Eagles is that they are living on the margins," he explained. "They remind me a lot of the Kansas City Chiefs. The margins are shrinking, those games they won, now they are losing. I still think Kansas City is going to play in the AFC Championship, and I feel okay about Philadelphia getting to the NFC Championship game."

Philadelphia's next chance to end their three-game skid will be on Christmas Day against the New York Giants. A win, and a Dallas Cowboy loss to the Miami Dolphins the day prior, would put the Eagles in the driver's seat to repeat as NFC East champions - the first time a team would repeat in this division since 2004.
