Philadelphia Eagles icon Nick Foles is discussing his future in the NFL and says he doesn't want to do anything "drastic.''

"I'm not doing anything drastic right now," Foles said via "Up and Adams.'' "I gotta see where I'm at and we'll see through the course of this season if I get excited about it again."

The 34-year old quarterback is currently a free agent, having last played for the Indianapolis Colts last season. He's best known for his time in Philadelphia where he etched his name in the history books and won a Super Bowl.

Foles was drafted by the Eagles in 2012 and played his first three seasons here. In his second NFL season, he posted the second-highest single season touchdown-to-interception ratio in NFL history, throwing for 27 touchdowns and just two interceptions.

After his time in Philadelphia, he bounced between the St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs before returning to "The City of Brotherly Love'' to be a backup before the 2017 season. ... and what a monumental decision that would turn out to be.

When MVP candidate Carson Wentz went down with a torn ACL in Week 14, Foles stepped in to replace him and the rest was history.

Foles led the Eagles on a miraculous playoff run that ended with a 41-33 victory over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. He threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns, also catching a touchdown on the famed "Philly Special" play on his way to winning Super Bowl MVP.

"Right now I'm just excited being a husband and a father," said Foles, who spends his time at home with his wife Tori and their two kids. "Really just trying to soak it in, because these kids are growing up fast and I don't wanna look back and say I missed it."

One thing is clear about Foles' future: If he ever wants to come back to Philadelphia for one more season, game, or day, the city would welcome him with open arms.
