LOOK: Philadelphia Eagles Reveal Uniforms vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Philadelphia Eagles plan to wear their white uniform tops with white pants and Midnight Green helmets against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead on Monday, the team announced on social media.
This will mark the sixth time this season that the Eagles have worn their white jerseys, and fourth when they've done so while wearing the matching white pants. The 8-1 Eagles did suffer their lone loss of the season in Week 5 while donning their white jerseys, but they wore black pants for that game. The Eagles are 3-0 in their three previous white-on-white games this season, having defeated the New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams.
Kansas City will wear its red tops on Monday Night Football, but they haven't announced whether they'll go with white pants or the matching reds.
When the Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII, Kansas City wore white tops with red pants, while Philadelphia countered with Midnight Green tops and white pants.
While this is the most-anticipated game of the regular season for the Eagles, fans will be even more excited about Philadelphia's aesthetics next week. For their Week 12 matchup with the Buffalo Bills at Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles plan to wear their Kelly Green throwbacks for the second time this season. The Kelly Green throwbacks were reintroduced in Week 7, when the Eagles defeated the Miami Dolphins 31-17 on Sunday Night Football.
Another Kelly Green Game Is Upcoming for Eagles
The Eagles have yet to wear their black alternate uniforms this season, but presumably will still on one occasion. A Sunday Night Football matchup with the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14 could be a candidate for the blackout, as could the team's Christmas Day matchup with the New York Giants.
