Eagles BREAKING: Patriots WR DeVante Parker Signing With Philadelphia
The Philadelphia Eagles are getting some much-needed help in the WR3 spot behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
Per reports from ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles are signing former New England Patriots receiver DeVante Parker to a one-year deal with $4.69 million guaranteed.
“DeVante is thrilled and grateful to become a Philadelphia Eagle and to help this elite organization win a championship,” Parker’s agent Jimmy Gould told Schefter.
Schefter also reported that the Eagles will only have to pay $1.2 million of Parker's contract with the rest falling on the Patriots.
Parker had spent his entire nine-year NFL career in the AFC East after being a first-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent seven seasons in Miami before arriving in New England in 2022.
In 119 career regular-season games, Parker has tallied 402 catches for 5,660 yards and 27 touchdowns.

With Parker, the Eagles now add a reliable veteran receiver that could take some of the load off of Smith and Brown while providing Jalen Hurts with a proven option in the passing game.
