Julio Jones has his first touchdown as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, and it came in a critical spot in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders at FedEx Field.

Just elevated from the practice squad after signing prior to Week 7, Jones' first catch against Washington came on a toughly-contested eight-yard touchdown grab to give Philly a 31-24 lead with 7:17 to play.

Jones was all smiles on the sideline afterwards.

Take a look at the score:

Jones caught his only target for three yards in Week 7's 31-17 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Upon signing, Jones displayed tons of confidence amid outside doubt that he can still produce at a high level despite his age.

“You just keep watching,” he said. “I ain’t going to make no expectations. Just keep watching, and we’ll revisit this.

“My mindset is definitely to dominate. Don’t get it twisted. I’m here to dominate. But I’m saying … wherever they need me to go and be, I’m going to do that to the best of my ability.”

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni admitted that the offense would still be centered around A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, but had praise for Jones.

“You're still coming out here and going to see more and more each time you see him out on the field,” Sirianni said. “Obviously, he's older from that time, but still has the ability to make plays. Make no mistake about it, though. This pass game still is going to go through DeVonta (Smith), A.J. (Brown), and Dallas (Goedert).
