Human Cheat Code: Bijan Robinson 'Impressive' at Falcons Training Camp
The Atlanta Falcons training camp is in full force and with it has come the opportunity for fans to see why running Bijan Robinson was sehe’sed with the No. 8 overall pick.
Despite playing in an era where rushing the football has been devalued, Robinson was considered a can't miss prospect at running back unlike anything the league has seen since the Giants' Saquon Barkley entered five year ago and he's already begun to demonstrate that he's an absolute problem in all three downs.
"You can easily see why Bijan Robinson might end up being special. Even without pads on, his ability to move with the ball and the vision he's had on run plays has been impressive," Rothstein tweeted. “In the first play of 7-on-7, he had a slick cut after a catch from Ridder that caught the attention of the crowd. His work ethic is legit, too. Robinson is often one of the - if not the - last player off the field. That was consistent in the spring and once again the first two days of training camp.”
In a draft class that featured three quarterbacks selected in the top four picks, Robinson is a talent so special that he very well may still win Offensive Rookie of The Year. The Falcons rookie has the highest score of any rookie in Madden 24 and he looks like a real life cheat code on the football field.
Not only does Robinson have the ability to catch the football, but reports are that he could be practicing as a returner as well. While its unlikely that he plays all four downs, the fact that he's capable of doing just goes to show what a truly special prospect the Texas back is.
As training camp continues to march a long, don't be surprised by the abundance of highlight plays that are sure to occur whenever Atlanta's star running back is on the field, especially once the pads come out and he's able to get physical.
