Falcons' Drake London 'No. 1 Wideout Every Week'?

Atlanta Falcons receiver Drake London posted 72 receptions, 866 yards and four touchdowns in his rookie campaign.

Through the first 13 weeks of last season, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London posted 70 or more three times.

And over the final four weeks, the rookie wideout eclipsed that mark in the same amount of games - including a career-high 120-yard performance in Week 18.

A first-round pick in 2022, London ranked third among all rookies in yards (866) and tied for second in receptions (72). However, London played his best football when Atlanta started quarterback Desmond Ridder from December onward.

Now entering his second season, CBS Sports viewed London as the most "overvalued" player on the Falcons roster.

"London is a good receiver, as the top 10 draft pick from 2022 caught 72 passes for 866 yards and four touchdowns in his rookie year," CBS Sports writes. "He was clearly the No. 1 wide receiver on the Falcons, and the most consistent pass catcher with Kyle Pitts struggling.

"The Falcons have Mack Hollins and Scott Miller to complement London, putting a lot of pressure on a second-year receiver to perform. With Desmond Ridder as a first-year starting quarterback, the heat is on London to be a No. 1 wideout every week."

Despite the additions Hollins and Miller, the 21-year-old will likely be tasked with taking a bulk of the receiving load alongside fellow top-10 pick Pitts. However, with a dynamic backfield in Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier, it's still unclear just how much Atlanta is going to air things out.
