Falcons Injury Report: A.J. Terrell to Play vs. Bears?

Atlanta Falcons coach Arthur Smith provided injury updates on tight end Feleipe Franks, cornerback A.J. Terrell and safety Erik Harris ahead of Sunday's game with the Chicago Bears.

The Atlanta Falcons wrapped up their final day of practice ahead of Sunday's contest with the Chicago Bears.

As the last preparations were being put into place, more was revealed about the status of several players who've battled injuries throughout the week.

Tight end Feleipe Franks, who suffered a calf injury two weeks ago against the Los Angeles Chargers and missed the Thursday night game versus the Carolina Panthers, has been ruled out for Sunday, according to coach Arthur Smith.

Cornerback A.J. Terrell (hamstring) and safety Erik Harris (foot) have been limited in practice, a step up for both as Terrell hadn't seen the field since his injury in Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals, while it had been since the Week 8 home game versus the Panthers for Harris.

Smith revealed that the final status of Terrell and Harris will run up to kickoff on Sunday, giving the team one last chance to evaluate before making the decision.

The Falcons received further positive availability news as left guard Colby Gossett returned to practice after a one-day absence due to a personal matter. Should Gossett have been unable to play against Chicago, Atlanta would've rolled out its fourth left guard in as many games.

The Falcons and Bears are set to kick at 1 p.m. Sunday inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
