According to ESPN, the Atlanta Falcons could become the first team since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970 to have a homegrown top-10 pick at receiver, tight end and running back.

The potential on this Atlanta Falcons roster is clear.

After utilizing their first-round pick this year on Texas running back Bijan Robinson, the Doak Walker winner joins a young nucleus of wide receiver Drake London, tight end Kyle Pitts and fellow back Tyler Allgeier.

And that core could become one of the league's best according to ESPN, ranking No. 10 in its top "offensive arsenals."

"When everyone's healthy, the Falcons will roll out a top-10 pick at running back (Robinson), wide receiver (London) and tight end (Pitts)," ESPN writes. "No team since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970 has had a top-10 homegrown player at those three positions at the same time."

Behind a 1,035 yard campaign from Allgeier, this Falcons offense ranked No. 3 in the NFL in total rushing. However, their 2,927 yards through the air - good for second-worst in the league - combatted that production on the ground.

"Tyler Allgeier was exceptional in this offense last season, averaging 4.9 yards per carry and 0.7 rushing yards over expected per snap, so running back should not be an issue," ESPN writes. "The Falcons should have the league's best one-two punch at halfback if Robinson lives up to expectations."

Now with second-year quarterback Desmond Ridder behind center, surrounding by a tight end looking to replicate his rookie year production and London, who was one of the NFL's best when called upon, the pieces are there to contend in the NFC South.

"London was targeted on a whopping 30.9% of his routes, the fourth-highest rate in football, and averaged 2.3 yards per route run," ESPN writes. "Give London the 573 routes Garrett Wilson ran for the Jets as opposed to the 379 London ran and his numbers prorate to 109 catches for 1,309 receiving yards."

With its offensive arsenal, Atlanta looks to contend for its first division title since 2016.
