The New York Jets were active on the phones Saturday at the 2023 National Football League Draft.

Team management picked up two additional Day 3 selections via the trade route.

"The phones were ringing today," said general manager Joe Douglas as he sat down at the dais for his Saturday press conference.

Gang Green started the Draft's final day with three picks in its possession, but wound up adding five college prospects.

The Jets began wheeling and dealing early in Round 4.

"It is an exciting day, and a busier day," said Douglas. "But at the end of the day, excited, really excited to add these guys."

Slated to select tenth in the fourth-round order, the Green & White moved back eight spots in order to gain a sixth-rounder. Douglas and Co. dealt the No. 112 overall pick to the New England Patriots in exchange for the No. 120 overall selection and a Round 6 choice (No. 184 overall).

After the eight-spot drop, the Jets used the pick from the Pats to nab Pittsburgh left tackle Carter Warren in Round 4.

The Jets pulled another one-for-two swap in Round 5, surrendering the No. 170 overall pick (which came from Green Bay in the Aaron Rodgers trade) to the Las Vegas Raiders.

In return for moving out of the fifth round, Gang Green received one sixth-rounder (204) and one seventh-round choice (220) from the Silver & Black.

In all, the Jets made seven selections over the course of the three-day 2023 NFL Draft.

They picked a cornerback and a tight end with the two late-rounders that came from the Raiders. LSU CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse was the choice at No. 204 and Old Dominion TE Zack Kuntz was taken at No. 220 overall.
