In this story:

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers' popularity is indisputable. He had the No. 10 best-selling jersey from sports apparel retailer Lids during the 2023 season.

Rodgers, who suffered a torn Achilles on the fourth snap of the season, and the Jets were featured on HBO's "Hard Knocks" series leading up the the quarterback's big debut with the Jets. Rodgers and the Jets have been in the spotlight since the Green Bay Packers traded the four-time MVP Quarterback last April.

Rodgers return to the field in 2024 will be one of the most-watched storylines.

Even with Rodgers' high individual jersey sales, when it comes to team merchandise, sports apparel company Lids reported the New York Giants sold more merchandise in the state of New York.

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons took the top spot and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes ranked No. 2. Mahomes' Chiefs will play the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII Sunday in Las Vegas.

A star on "America's team," Parsons has grown into a fan favorite for not only his ferocious, relentless play, but also his honesty on social media and his podcast. Meanwhile Mahomes, the charismatic quarterback, has led the Chiefs to Super Bowl four times in the last five years.
