Run stuffer Al Woods headlines the New York Jets' list of gameday inactives for the Week 4 primetime matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs

The veteran defensive tackle will take a seat for the first time this season with the Jets making seven edge rushers available for the Sunday Night Football affair. Woods, who signed a free-agent deal with the team in the offseason, played 46 percent of the snaps in Week 3 against New England. The 36-year-old Woods made two solo stops last time out.

In a continuation of the past three weeks, two rookie draft picks landed on the inactive list. Fifth-round running back Israel Abanikanda and sixth-round linebacker Zaire Barnes are down again. Like Abanikanda and Barnes, undrafted rookie receiver Jason Brownlee has yet to make his NFL regular season debut.

As expected, starting free safety Tony Adams and backup offensive guard Wes Schweitzer are two of the six inactives. Neither player practiced this past week due to injury.

In terms of early-round rookies, defensive end Will McDonald and offensive lineman Joe Tippmann are both up for what will be the franchise's first SNF appearance since 2011.

Two Jets Ruled Out for Sunday Night Football vs. Chiefs

Tippmann, who made his first NFL start at right guard last week, is lone Jets' rookie to be active for all four games to date. He played every snap against the Patriots and did not permit a single pressure in 42 pass blocking reps according to PFF. On the other hand, McDonald saw only 11 defensive snaps in the 15-10 setback.

For the Chiefs, starting linebacker Nick Bolton and second-string cornerback Jaylen Watson, both who were ruled out Friday, are the most-prominent inactives for Week 4.
