Updated official injury reports are out ahead of the New York Jets' Monday Night Football season opener against the Buffalo Bills.

A total of four players, three of whom are Jets' offensive starters, currently carry a documented injury status.

No new players were added to the list on Friday afternoon, but, in a new development, right tackle Mekhi Becton did not practice with the Green & White. After participating in Thursday's session on a "limited" basis, the behemoth bookend was absent today due to illness.

Becton, a 2020 first-round draft pick, had been re-building trust in his twice surgically-repaired right knee and was on pace to start in the Week 1 contest. Except for Becton, all players from both teams practiced in some capacity on Friday.

In Florham Park, Gang Green starters Duane Brown and Breece Hall were limited for the second day in a row. Like Becton, the veteran left tackle and the second-year running back are ramping back up from offseason surgeries.

It appears as if their limited status is a result of the maintenance portion of the recovery process and not an indication of their availability for Monday's divisional battle. Hall, who is working his way back from an ACL tear, was a non-participant this past Monday but his absence was planned.

"We’re not going to practice Breece, but there is nothing wrong with that, it’s just part of the maintenance program," said Jets' third-year head coach Robert Saleh at the beginning of the week.

As for the Bills, veteran safety Micah Hyde was the lone name on the official report filed with the league office. Hyde was a full participant on Friday after being limited due to a back on Thursday. Buffalo's defensive leader, a two-time All-Pro, spent the first four seasons of his NFL career as a teammate of Aaron Rodgers with the Green Bay Packers.

"I feel great, did a little more today. Taking it day by day. Still got a few days until Monday night, so I'm good," said Hyde after Thursday's limited participation. "[The back tightness] comes with old age, probably wrestling with my son or something. Woke up [earlier in the week] and just felt a little tightness, but it's feeling a lot better now."
