Speaking with the New York Sack Exchange member ahead of his Hall of Fame enshrinement
In this story:

New York Jets' legend Joe Klecko joined the Jets Country Podcast for a special episode ahead of his Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement.

The former defensive lineman, who played multiple roles up front over the course of his career, sat down for an in-depth conversation with show host Amanda Shinn.

Klecko offered a number of insightful anecdotes along with his opinion on the current state of the game. The two-time All-Pro First Team selection, and foundational piece of the New York Sack Exchange, spoke about choosing his Hall of Fame presenter and teased his induction speech, which will take place on Saturday, August 5 in Canton.

Explaining his playing techniques, Klecko hypothesized how his style of play would be received today. The 1981 NFL sacks leader also provided a look into his life since retiring from football.

Klecko already resides amongst elite company. The Temple product and the late Frank Gifford are the only two players in NFL history to earn Pro Bowl honors at three different positions. He's also one of only five Jets to have had their jersey numbers retired by the organization.

Klecko along with Jets alumnus Darrelle Revis and seven others are set for enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this week. They receive their gold jackets at dinner on Friday evening prior to Saturday afternoon's televised ceremony in Tom Benson Stadium.
