Alim McNeill Reacts to Hilarious David Montgomery Video

David Montgomery lost the battle with the resistance band.
In this story:

Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery is preparing for his first NFL season in Motown.

One of the primary reasons general manager Brad Holmes signed the young running back to a significant free agent contract was his ability to shed tackles.

Last season, Montgomery recorded 46 missed tackles forced, which ranked 14th in the NFL, according to PFF.

Along with Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit's offense is expected to gain more yards from similar run calls that were made last season.

“I feel like we can take a big jump,” offensive coordinator Ben Johnson revealed to Fox 2. “When you watch all of our plays from last year, it’s about doing it time and time again. These four- and five-yard runs, they really should be eight, nine or even more if we can break a tackle.”

In a recent video posted on social media, the talented running back is seen training and using a popular tool, a resistance band that is tied to a large tire.

After making progress moving forward, Montgomery eventually and naturally runs out of steam, causing the slingshot effect in the opposite direction.

His teammate, like many others, found the video quite funny, posting, "I am crying !!!!!," on social media in response.
