With Taylor Decker potentially not yet ready to return, as he has not participated in practice the past two days, Detroit's offensive line is tasked with gaining comfort daily with matching up against the Falcons defensive line. 

In two games, the Falcons' secondary has been effective in limiting the production of opposing wide receivers. 

"I feel good about our quarterback’s ability to stand in there when there is pressure and deliver the football, but certainly when the pocket gets collapsed, it’s difficult to hang in there, even for the best of them, said Ben Johnson. "So, that’ll be our challenge is keeping the width and the depth of the pocket clean for Jared (Goff) and get the ball out on time. We’ve got to get guys open, so it’s a -- that’s what we’re working through as a staff right now, how quickly can we come together and feel really good about our matchups, both in protection and in the pass game.”

On Thursday, six Lions did not participate in participate, while Amon-Ra St. Brown was limited in his return from a toe injury. 

Frank Ragnow, who has normally missed a day of practice each week, continues to work through his maintenance program in order to play every week.
