LIVE BLOG: Follow Lions' Week 14 Matchup Against Bears

Follow the Lions' Week 14 game against Chicago.

The last time the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears met, it was the Bears who dominated the game for the first three quarters.

However, the Lions mounted a late comeback with two fourth quarter touchdown drives to steal the win at Ford Field in Week 11. David Montgomery's 1-yard score with :29 remaining gave the Lions the late lead.

Just three weeks later, both teams are aware that the result of the game could've gone in a different direction. As a result, the Bears are focused on finishing games in a more efficient fashion.

"It's really about finishing," Bears coach Matt Eberflus told reporters Wednesday. "You talk about finishing. It starts with (Sunday's) game. You've got to really finish. I was proud of the way the guys finished the last game. That's in the past. Now you look forward. To me, that's what it's about. The NFL is about finishing in the two-minute, four-minute process, the end of the halves, end of the games. We're certainly looking to improve on that."

In Week 11, the Bears held a 12-point lead with four minutes remaining. Yet, the Lions survived at home thanks to two scoring drives late in the game. A strip sack by Aidan Hutchinson resulting in a safety cemented the win.

Detroit struggled with turnovers that day, as quarterback Jared Goff threw three interceptions. Limiting the turnovers will be key in avoiding a late deficit similar to what they faced in the first meeting against the Bears.
