Lions Fans Taking Over Lambeau Field Is Going Viral
Detroit Lions fans have been willing to travel on the road this season to support the hometown team.
After a sea of blue was spotted in Kansas City, it appears based on pre-game videos and videos just before kickoff that Lions fans have flocked to Lambeau Field to cheer on Detroit in their effort to start the season 3-1.
Detroit has won three straight games against the Packers and a win on Thursday Night Football would see Dan Campbell's squad in first place.
Detroit's third-year head coach was asked this week if he felt his young team was built to go out on the road to play in primetime.
"I think we just take it as it comes. It’s the next game on the schedule. We’re going on the road, it’ll be a tough environment, it’ll be a special environment. I think there is always something special about going out to Lambeau," Campbell told reporters this week. "I just told the rookies that you’re going to enjoy this. It doesn’t get any better, so it’ll be an outstanding atmosphere and our players look forward to going out there and they just came off a big win.
"They did a heck of a job to come back there and pull that one out, so we know what they are. They’ve got a dang-good defense. (Jordan) Love’s playing well. They’re going to run the football, play-action pass," Campbell explained further. "They’re well-coached and this will be a heck of a battle, test for us.”
