The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers will square off for first place in the NFC North division Thursday night.

Though early in the season, the primetime game offers both teams the opportunity to stake their claim as leaders of the division.

The Lions have taken each of the last three meetings between the two teams, including the last time these two squared off at Lambeau Field in the 2022 season finale. That night, the Lions made a statement with a 16-13 win.

Now, each team enters at 2-1 with first place on the line. Though these foes are familiar with each other, there are a multitude of differences between now and where each was last season.

"They have the same defensive coordinator, a lot of the same players too, so we're kind of familiar with what they do," said wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. "But each year's different, obviously. You move guys around, what they do. It's only going into Week 4, so you don't really have an identity. If you do, it's only three weeks in. You can go off last year's tape a little, but you're mostly focusing on this year, what they've done the last three games and we've played them now a few times. It's kind of like, once you get in that game, you anticipate things they're gonna do, they anticipate what we're gonna do. So we've got to go out there and just play."

Best Bet: Aidan Hutchinson Over 0.25 Sacks (+105 DraftKings)

Play Michigan lead writer Drew Ellis sees Hutchinson to be primed for a big game with injuries to Green Bay's offensive line. The second-year rusher had two sacks last week and is looking to build on that momentum.

"Aaron Glenn saw what philosophy worked against an inexperienced starter last week when the Lions piled up seven sacks on the Atlanta Falcons," Ellis told All Lions. "I expect a similar defensive approach Thursday against Jordan Love, a better overall passer, but still not someone who has proven he can complete big passes under pressure. With the Packers banged up on the offensive line, mainly David Bakhtiari out once again, I look for Aidan Hutchinson to be a menace in the backfield. He had two sacks his last appearance in Lambeau and I think he picks up at least one more on Thursday night (+105)."
