The Detroit Lions polished off one of the best seasons in franchise history with a 30-20 defeat of the Minnesota Vikings Sunday. In the third season under Dan Campbell, Detroit finishes 12-5 and earned its first division title since 1993.

Among Sunday's standouts was wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who surpassed 1,500 receiving yards with a career-high 144 on seven catches. In the fourth quarter, he turned in a highlight-reel catch-and-run for a 70-yard score.

Quarterback Jared Goff also had a good day, completing 72 percent of his passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns. Aidan Hutchinson led the defense with two sacks and an additional tackle for loss.

Elsewhere, the secondary struggled to contain top wideout Justin Jefferson, who had 12 catches for 192 yards and a score. Nick Mullens threw for 396 yards Sunday against the Lions' defense.

The Lions elected to play their starters in the regular season finale. That decision came with unfortunate consequences, as standout tight end Sam LaPorta and punt returner Kalif Raymond suffered knee injuries in the win.

Next up for the Lions is a showdown with former franchise quarterback Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams.
