Lions Week 5 Inactive List

List of Lions players who are inactive against the Panthers.
In this story:

The Detroit Lions will have key players not suiting up against the Carolina Panthers.

Despite injuries to Amon-Ra St. Brown, Brian Branch and Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit's defense will have potential game-changers returning.

Emmanuel Moseley is set to make his Lions debut this week, after missing the first four games recovering from an ACL injury.

Safety Kerby Joseph, who was designated as questionable, will also return to the lineup against the winless Panthers.

Defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn credited the roster this week for taking ownership of the defense, as the play the last couple of weeks has been representative of his vision of how an NFL should perform.

"Offense, defense, special teams, you’re always going to have a rough patch," said Glenn. "I don’t know what people think this is. This is not a game. This is grown men out there playing and every now and then, you’re going to have rough patches and we had some. I mean hell, we had one against Seattle. But we have men that understand and again, they have pride and want to be good.

"That makes all the difference in the world and with the staff that we have, how we’re just beating into these guys, man this is an improvement-type business and those guys really, really understand that, probably more than any other time right now because you see it in practice," Glenn explained further. "All the fundamentals, all the techniques that we talk about, those guys go out there and they really try to give us that as much as possible and to me, that’s the number one thing. The players, they deserve all the credit in the world for how they’ve been playing.”
